Brandon grew up on the scenic coastline of Lake Michigan in Zeeland, MI. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, he worked with Prof. Theodore Goodson III on the dielectric and photophysical properties of hybrid nanocomposites and hyperbranched copper phthalocyanine polymers. He then completed a sequential masters program to continue on with his dielectric materials research. Brandon is currently developing f-element photosensitizers.
