Hailey Akins
B.S., Chemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology, Class of 2023
Hailey grew up in the suburbs of northeast Georgia, approximately half an hour from Atlanta. Currently, she is studying f-element chemistry with a specific focus on accessing higher oxidation states in lanthanides using strong electron donating ligands. Hailey is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in inorganic chemistry.
