Haruko Tateyama

B. A., Chemistry, Connecticut College

Haruko grew up in Aomori, which is located in the northern region of Japan. She spent three years of her childhood in Greenwich, CT and  went to high school in Hong Kong. During her undergraduate studies at Connecticut College, she worked with Prof. Stanton Ching on the electrochemical studies of microporous/mesoporous manganese oxides for supercapacitor applications. She is studying the mixed valence metal ions in the group.
